The first question I had to contemplate when asked to lead the design team for Hong Kong Disneyland‘s Tomorrowland was – “How do you create a Tomorrowland in a city that already looks like Tomorrowland?”

The answer was to create a Tomorrowland that is not of this world. By designing a Spaceport theme, I was able to include the attractions of Space Mountain, Buzz Lightyear, Stitch Encounter and Autopia (that travels across an alien landscape). Every one of these attractions supported this out of this world theme.
