A BIT

ABOUT

ME…

As I look at old family photos, I see my relationship with Disney began at an early age.  It started with Walt Disney’s “Disneyland” television show, then with visits to the newly opened Disneyland Park. These photos were taken in 1966 only a year after the park opened.

Growing up in Glendale, California, gave me and my family the opportunity to visit Disneyland numerous times. It was there that I discovered a world of imagination and adventure that inspired me to become an artist. Serendipitously, Glendale just happened to be the home of Walt Disney Imagineering.

After graduating from ArtCenter College of Design in Los Angeles, I began my thirty-four-year career at Walt Disney Imagineering, the creative design division for Disney themeparks and resorts.

I moved up through the ranks of Imagineering from a Creative Designer/Director to Creative VP/Executive Designer and led teams in the design, development and construction of Disney themeparks throughout the world.  My teams created over $2.5 billion of completed projects, from Anaheim to Orlando, Paris to Hong Kong.

The key to my success was my ability to create unique concepts based on in-depth research, world class storytelling and my skill as an artist to turn these concepts into reality.

It truly was an honor to design Disney projects and work alongside the most talented and creative people in the world!

Thanks Walt, I owe it all to you.
