D23 was the ultimate Disney fan experience, celebrating all of the business units of The Walt Disney Company. The 3-day 2009 convention was held at the Anaheim Convention Center and was attended by over 40,000 guests. Rave online reviews were estimated at 1-billion hits. In just 3 months, Tim and his team designed and produced a media-based ''pre-show'' with a magical portal that gave way to an expansive theatrically-lit exhibit space, showcasing the Imagineering process and future Disney theme park projects. He created the most popular exhibit at the Expo on a very tight budget and schedule.
