Tim Delaney
Creative Director, Producer & Field Art Director of Entrance Complex & Paradise Pier

Tim created the design and lead the team of the main entrance complex for Disney's California Adventure to read like a picture post card from "Sunny California". Welcoming you are giant letters lined in glittering gold mirrors spelling out CALIFORNIA. He included rich icons from the Golden State such as the Golden Gate Bridge - with a monorail gliding across it, the Sun Icon and Wave Fountain, and twin ceramic tile murals representing imagery from Northern and Southern California. He also lead the team that designed Paradise Pier, set alongside a beautiful lagoon, which is Disney's tribute to the seaside amusement parks, piers and boardwalks of California's history. A few of the many attraction are:

California Screamin': A steel roller coaster, cleverly disguised as a wooden one but with a high speed launch system.
Jumpin' Jellyfish: Float like a jellyfish on this kid-friendly parachute ride soaring 40 feet in the air and back down through a colorful kelp garden.
Orange Stinger: Ride individual bumblebee seats as you swing around inside a giant orange.
Sun Wheel: A Ferris wheel with swinging gondolas that slide and rock back and forth along the spokes of the wheel.
S.S. rustworthy: An interactive water squirting fire boat.
